Within a hospital, many surgical procedures take place, such as
hip or knee replacement. MRSA can compromise a surgical
wound, leading to many problems. It is important that a dressing
which covers such a wound provides a physical barrier to infection,
including MRSA.

One such dressing is OPSITE* Post-Op. This is waterproof,
allowing a patient to bathe and, importantly, provides a barrier
to MRSA. This is beneficial to the patient, potentially shortening
their time in hospital and also reducing the costs associated with
dealing with the hospital acquired infection.
